Date Posted: 2022-04-03-07:00 Country: Indonesia Location: PT Citas Otis Elevator, Cibis 9 Business Park, Jalan TB Simatupang no 2 Cilandak Timur Jakarta Selatan, Indonesia Role and Function: Under the guidance of the CFO, the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the timely procurement of all material and supplies (local and foreign, vendor and intercompany), as required for the efficient operation of the company. This position is responsible to manage and lead end to end supply chain – procurement , warehouse and logistics Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensures that Otis, and Citas Otis’s company policies related to the purchasing and procurement activities are uniformly understood and properly interpreted and administered.
  • Operates within the Code of Ethics established by the company which is also the Otis Code of Ethics. Particularly, ensures that all purchasing transactions and activities are in strict compliance with the Otis Code of Ethics and promptly reports any doubtful situation to the company ECO.
  • Assumes responsibilities for the procurement of all materials/services, equipment and supplies required for the execution of contracts and the efficient operation of the company. Also ensures same procurement is affected in accordance with time, cost and schedule as internally agreed and/or contractually committed.
  • Ensures that vendor supplies, and services meet the company requirements and are conformed to agreed terms of purchase. Negotiates and establishes purchasing agreements with selected suppliers/vendors with a view to obtain as favorable as possible terms and conditions while ensuring that the supplied goods and services meet the required standard of quality.
  • Contributes to the Company’s competitiveness by providing accurate vendor pricing feedback to Sales Department as required for the preparation of quotations and tenders. Establishes, maintains, and distributes vendor price lists to Sales Department for regularly supplied material and services.
  • Communicates and coordinates with Finance, Sales, and Construction as appropriate and required to ensure the proper follow-up and smooth execution of all contracts as per the agreed terms and conditions of same.
  • Responsible for all reporting related to the purchasing and procurement activities as required by, Otis WHQ and the company’s senior management.
  • Perform other duties as directed by CFO.
  • Adapt to workload requirements and be ready to work beyond official working hours as may be required seasonally
  • Operate within the code of ethics established by the company, which is also the Otis code of ethics. Promptly report any doubtful situation to the company ECO.
  • Strictly and fully comply to all company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed, written desk procedures for all key tasks and processes relevant to the job’s duties and responsibilities.
Principal Working Relationship:
  • Liaises with all departments and particularly with the Sales, Finance and NE Field departments.
  • Maintains appropriate relationships with the company vendors and suppliers.
  • Manage and lead a team
  • Minimum S1 graduated with preference in accounting degree
  • Computer literate using Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Able to speak and write in English
  • Having Import Knowledge
  • 3 years relevant leadership experience
