Job description

Job Purpose

Responsible to plan, organize, direct, control and lead the Key Account Management activities according to corporate policies and sales strategies, with the objective of achieving marketing and sales objectives and ensuring market share gain.

This role also ensures excellent and on-time execution of Modern Trade activities according to channel plan and strategies, with the objective of achieving marketing and sales objectives and ensuring market share gain.

Key Accountabilities

Major Responsibilities

Strategy and Operations Planning Collaborate with trade marketing on the development of the Modern Trade strategy and work with modern trade team on implementation of account plans; Ensure that the company’s modern trade strategy is attuned to current market dynamics by proper gathering and analysis of competitive intelligence data and gain market share; Provides support to trade marketing in the review of category and competitor secondary data from Modern Trade accounts; Lead and oversee consumer promo in-store promo of his/her accounts to ensure all promotions are in line with brand / category strategy; Prepare and propose investment proposals for each Account to ensure optimal ROI for the business;

Strategy Execution Ensure that the company’s sales objectives are met within agreed expenditures; Analyze results of tactical activities, oversee attainment of sales target in order to ensure smooth and flawless implementation of sales strategy and achieve sale objectives; Review and feedback channel execution with Trade Marketing by providing market challenges for each channel. To make sure that channel strategy is executable; Coordination with Trade Marketing Department on merchandisers and sales promoters support needed; Present monthly performance (both financial & execution) during monthly meeting with clear findings and proposed action plans to CHC Management team; Review all trading terms and investment within modern trade to ensure all investments are within allocated budget.

Distributor Management Coordinate with distributor and supply chain on branch forecast for all Modern Trade; Coordinate with Trade Marketing and distributor in developing trade letters for his/her accounts as per business need; Coordinate with distributor to monitor and track return from modern trade to ensure all returns are within allocated budget.

Individual Development and Performance Management Define the relevant annual Individual Development Plan (IDP) with manager ; Ownership of IDP implementation;

Account Management Build strong and healthy engagement with Key Customers within modern trade channel to maintain positive business relationship; Lead and represent Sanofi CHC in all customer negotiations to achieve win-win solutions for both parties; Be the "Voice of Customer" within Sanofi CHC internal discussions and meetings bring in customer perspectives.

Requirements :


S1 as minimum requirement

Experience & knowledge:

  • Previous working experience in a foreign pharmaceutical company, preferably in similar position.

Core competencies:

  • Good communication skills : Important to have good networking and influencing skills as this job is connected to several different functions
  • Good analytical skills and business acumen
  • Good spoken and written English capability
  • Must stick to company values,
  • Mature personality with good interpersonal and networking skills
