Job description
Role Summary
Monitor and control team performance to ensure accurate sorting and optimum loading of all inbound & outbound shipments and provide the timely lodgment and recovery of the shipments to satisfy the customer needs and requirements within their responsibility
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure incoming shipments are recovered, “break bulked”, inspected and cleared in the timely manner
Process material upon receive and make sure material is available for next movement connection
Proceed receipt and lodgment of outbound shipments from country operations within airlines’ cut-off time and RFU - Manage the receipt of data/documents to assist in the preparation of import and export declarations
- Arrange physical inspections of shipments by authorities and follow the contingency plan for any emergency or the occasional customer requirement
- Monitor performance, training and coach team members in technical knowledge in each zone
Support supervisor in manpower planning and rotation plan to ensure adequate manpower to meet daily operations - Develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers), flexibility and cost consciousness
Requirement
- Bachelor Degree
- 3 – 5 years experiences in Operations in logistics industry
