Job description
Managing Work, Projects, and Policies
Coordinates and implements accounting work and projects as assigned.
Coordinates, implements and follows up on Accounting SOP audits for all areas of the property.
Complies with national and local laws applying to fraud and collection procedures.
Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
Maintains a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets.
Ensures accuracy of accounting processes
Actively manages and improves ancillary business

Maintaining Finance and Accounting Goals
Prepare financial statements in accordance to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and in format approved by company policy
Research, analyze and document variances from actual results compared to budget and previous forecast
Prepare, review and ensure balance sheet accounts are supported by appropriate documentation.
Maintain and update tax rates used for local tax in accordance with laws. Ensure the rates are current and proper amounts are collected and/or accrued
Conduct property level self-assessments and assist with internal, tax, and regulatory audits. Identify, develop, and communicate action plans to rectify deficiencies in a timely manner
Prepare data and information to auditors for annual external audit, including clear and concise variance explanations demonstrating a thorough understanding of the financial statements
Provide direction and assistance to other organizational units regarding accounting and budgeting policies and procedures, and efficient control and utilization of financial resources.
Prepare cash flow and profit forecasts that facilitate timely adjustments to the business by on-site leaders, including the accurate payment and recording of intercompany transfers
