About Our Client
Our client is one of the top General Insurance company in Indonesia
- Conduct analysis on market trends and competitors.
- Review individual processes and department structures periodically. 8. Maintain and review finance and accounting procedure and policy
- Oversee collections and its related reporting (with support from Collections Manager). 2. Oversee daily finance operations (with support from Finance Manager)
- Oversee / ensure timely fulfilment of all filings and responses to inquiries and maintain effective relationships with OJK for regulatory reporting requirements.
- Oversee regular filings to tax department and in finance, accounting and tax department to ensure compliance, accuracy and completeness of accounting records and transactions and reports (with support from Accounting Manager)
- Assist CFO and lead the team to deliver effective and efficient processes, developing and embedding controls that safeguard the Company assets and manage risk appropriately.
- Reporting to Management and Stakeholders and work with them to develop strategic initiatives and business plans (with support from Finance Manager)
- Carry out other associated duties as may arise, develop or be assigned in line with the broad remit of the post.
The Successful Applicant
- 10-15 years of experience with medium to large General Insurance (of which at least 3 years with a Big-4 / Large Audit Firm)
- In-depth understanding of financial management and collections.
- Relevant certification (i.e. CFA / CPA/ ACMA) or equivalent is essential.
- Has good familiarity with local taxation matters
- Sound understanding of IFRS as well as local regulations in accounting.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software.
- Good general insurance process knowledge
- Ability to interact with key external and internal stakeholders like the Regulators, Auditors, Tax Authorities, BOC, BOD and Department Head
- Strong business acumen and commercial insight.
- Excellent leadership, analytical and decision making skill
- Good Communication and presentation skills
- Good proficiency in English and Bahasa - speaking and writing
