Get to know the Role
As a Payment Risk Assistant Manager, you are responsible for conducting risk assessments for existing and up-and-coming products, creating optimum solutions that work to prevent risk and fraud in the payment landscape across Grab verticals, building models that measure risk assessments, and laying out strategies on process efficiency for the wider team to follow. You will play an important role in the implementation of processes to support strategies that help to reduce inefficient and repetitive processes which will directly impact the safety and wellbeing of all Grab users.
The day-to-day activities:
You will be the representative of payment fraud related matters for all business verticals in the organization both internally and externally and be accountable for fraud related OKRs and metrics.
You are responsible for analyzing data reports to identify insights of user behaviors or potential payment risk trends and translate these insights into risk strategies and roadmaps
You will closely collaborate cross-functionally with regional and local teams including regional user trust, fintech strategy, product management, city management team, account management team, and customer experience to build fraud detection engine, improve risk system functionalities, and optimize processes and workflows
You will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures
You will use advanced data modeling and analytical techniques to interpret key findings from data and leverage these insights into initiatives that will support business outcomes
You will support enterprise-wide analytics by collaborating with other Payment ecosystem departments to understand business reporting needs and requirements
The must haves:
You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
You have at least 3-5 years of experience in Banking / Payment Gateway / Financial Services
You are proficient in RDBMS such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and good track record experience in using Tableau, Excel or other data visualization tools
You have proficient written and spoken English
You have good analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amount of information with attention to detail and accuracy
