Our Business Analyst (FP&A) is expected to work closely with the respective Country Leads and play a strategic role in supporting strategy-setting activities and strategy deployment for Country Management. The success of this role will rely largely on your strong expertise in Financial Planning and Analysis to consolidate in-market information, aggregate data and analyse information to inform operating performance and conduct a profit and loss forecast. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Reporting - Track and report data
  • Consolidate in-market sales information from Sales managers and cost information from the relevant country stakeholders
  • Conduct data aggregation
  • Provision of accurate and timely financial reports to senior management
  • Report should cover resource usage, cash flow, business performance and the financial health of the reported business segments
  • Reports produced are presented in a structured manner and in a form that is easily understood by relevant stakeholders
2. Financial Analysis - Developing meaningful insights to influence business decisions
  • Prepare and analyse Profit and Loss forecast and other ad-hoc analysis / reporting
  • Conduct analysis on information from the various business units to provide a view on the organisation’s operating performance (e.g., cash flow, ROI)
  • Provision of accurate analysis and forecast to senior management
  • Report should be able to be used as an input to evaluate economic trends, build long-term plans for business activities, and identify projects for investment purposes.
  • Reports produced are presented in a structured manner and in a form that is easily understood by relevant stakeholders
3. Strategy Development and Deployment
  • Support finance initiatives and M&A integrations (if applicable)
  • Collaborate with regional counterparts to drive high-level regional agenda
  • Successful execution of initiative and agenda
  • Strong stakeholder collaboration and rapport
Preferred Experience and Qualifications The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience and knowledge of the clinical and life sciences markets coupled with strong financial analytical capabilities.
  • B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant FP&A and Accounting work experience (e.g., financial planning, business analytics) required
  • Professional Qualifications (e.g., Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)) is preferred
Expected Capabilities and Behaviours
  • Advanced knowledge of operating systems such as Tableau and SAP
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and reasonably proficient with other common applications such as Microsoft Words and Powerpoint
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate data and information into meaningful business insights
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Self-motivated individual who is thrives on innovation and is results-oriented
  • Self-driven, seeks continuous improvement and proactively thinks ahead
  • Excellent command of <local language> and English (i.e., written and spoken)
  • Excited and willing to travel (subject to Covid-19 SOPs)
