Job Description :

Strategic effectiveness :

  • You will contribute to the design and implementation of the business & operations road map, as well as managing the procurement, sales and supply chain strategy for the product(s), in a region within the country.
  • You will participate and contribute to continuous development of Jiva platform with the objective of providing better solutions and experience to Farmers, Micro Collectors (MC), Jiva team and other stakeholders, while creating a robust business model for Jiva
  • You will demonstrate sound judgement within defined practices and policies and select techniques for obtaining solutions that will contribute to future results and successes.
  • Your strong financial acumen, ability to read and comprehend tasks such as counterparty and credit risk management, will enhance our existing platform.


Operational effectiveness :

  • You will be responsible for optimal utilization of company resources and derive maximum capacity efficiencies by eliminating controllable losses.
  • You will be able to build an engaged team & implement required infrastructure, to deliver Farmers & MC growth, volumes, revenue & margins as per the business plan.
  • You will also be required to interface with appropriate regulatory bodies for obtaining permissions, approvals, etc.


Organizational effectiveness :

  • You should have a demonstrated ability of actively building your teams - hiring, training, and developing team members.
  • You will be responsible for supporting the Head of Operations in buying & selling decisions (of agri-inputs & agri-produce) with robust demand & supply planning & by providing adequate and timely market information and analysis.
  • You will be comfortable engaging with key stakeholders in Country team & Product Development Group, including formal business reviews and ongoing continuous improvement initiatives with the leadership teams.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications :

  • Strong background from sales roles in FMCG industry
  • Minimum 6 years of working experience in sales roles
  • Entrepreneurial, curious and passionate about making a difference towards some of the world's most important problems
  • Keenness to understand potential of new-age technologies & solutions and applying them in day-to-day operations for customer delight.

  • Ability to manage stock, factory, and operations will be a huge plus
