About The Head of Legal & Compliance Role
You will manage all legal functions, Compliance Programs, Contracts Management, Internal Audit, Government Relation including Company Licensing. You will be reporting to the Corporate Affairs & Legal Director.
Developing and leading corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the company's matters
Set the legal strategy, goals and objectives in alignment with business strategies in Indonesia and several overseas companies
Maintaining proper corporate interactions with the relevant local, state, and other governmental bodies, legislatures, and the community at large
Advise senior management on a variety of complex legal issues that would impact the businesses
Develop and manage annual legal, compliance and enterprise risk management budget
Handling legal documents including but not limited to drafting, negotiating, finalising, manage database and records all types of contracts including service level agreements, procurement contracts, master supply/purchase agreements, etc.
Monitor and ensure the fulfilment of required business licenses and permits for the company to perform its business and operational activities to ensure compliance with applicable law and regulations
Answering internal queries from other departments of the company regarding legal and compliance
Handling any cases where the company is one of the parties including but not limited to Liaising with senior counsels, lawyers, and authorities wherever required
Proactively lead and contribute to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of an effective system of corporate governance and enterprise risk management
Lead the execution, implementation and change management requirements of global ERM (including business continuity and crisis management) mandates in Indonesia
As part of ERM, facilitate and support the business to identify, assess, mitigate, monitor and respond to significant local risks that could impact the company’s ability to achieve its strategic and performance objectives
Overseeing all formalities and documentations across all departments
Develop and implementing Compliance Program within the company and also vendors including but not limited to develop and maintain regulations and code of conduct, develop and setup trainings and maintaining Whistle Blower System
Manage Internal Audit activity within the company
To succeed in this Head of Legal and Compliance role, you must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of how to grow the business and become a business partner with other department.
