About the Opportunity:
Discova is looking for an In-destination Sales Host to join the team in Bali, Indonesia. As a member of Discova, you will be a part of a passionate sales team of In-destination Sales Host who are committed to consistently delivering an excellent customer experience and take pride in being the face of Discova.
We are looking for someone who is self-driven and strong in sales skills to introduce company products to potential customers and close sales. The ID Hosts responsibilities include researching competing products, identifying opportunities to increase sales, and assisting in developing and executing sales plans. You should also be able to answer customers’ questions regarding product pricing, availability, features, and benefits.
Represent Discova and welcome guests within 24h of arrival, occasionally including at the airport
Resolve customer service issues to customer’s satisfaction with appropriate corrective and preventive measures
Establish and maintain relationships with local hoteliers, excursion agents and travel companies
Service all customer enquiries professionally and efficiently within expected business turnaround time
Offer every customer tours and other activities with preferred suppliers or Discova branded products
When required, IDS Host to manage and operate the Tour Desks
Ensuring welcome packs, company branding, and other collateral is in line with one best way and presentable to our customers
Post and advertise Discova Local packages via social media.
Prepare and execute monthly sales plan.
Assist in training and support of new IDS Hosts.
Ensure you maintain up to date with product knowledge and understand Discova offerings alongside other upskilling training.
Various reporting duties to other people within the business.

About you: The Essentials:
Bachelor degree or a degree in tourism and hospitality is preferred.
Minimum 1 year experience in a sales team in the tourism industry.
Fluent in both written and spoken English is required and other European languages would be an advantage.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to be flexible
Excellent communicator to a diverse range of people and across cultures (customers, suppliers, team members, leaders).
High attention to detail

Able to work independently and within a team assisting team members to help everyone achieve results.
Willing to travel on business when required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Discova’s systems would be an advantage.
